Counselling can provide a safe space in which to explore your thoughts and feelings, with a view to bring about effective change. It can help you find ways of coping with difficult life events.
I provide you with an opportunity to talk about issues that are causing concern, difficulty or distress.
The aim is to help you

- Recognise possible solutions
- Find internal resources for change
It is often easier to talk about personal issues with someone who is objective and non-judgemental.
It depends on the individual needs of each client as to how many sessions may be helpful - this can be discussed at the first appointment. I work on a short-term or time-limited basis.
