Dorothy Davis MSc, MBACP (Accred) - Counselling 07941 630349

As an experienced counsellor I work with many issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship, low confidence and self-esteem.  I am also available to work with clients who seek support with personal development, are concerned about work or retirement, are students, or students on a counselling course.

My counselling practice is in a convenient town-centre location in Newcastle-under-Lyme, just a short walk from the bus station and car-parks.  This is also convenient for Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.

As well as having a private practice, I have experience of counselling in various settings, including, the NHS, a mental health charity, and as an associate counsellor for students at a university.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, daytime appointments.
Currently unavailable until 13 February 2019.

Queens Garden Business Centre
31 Ironmarket
Newcastle under Lyme
ST5 1RP

My practice is opposite Queens Garden.  It is only a short walk to the bus-station, there are several nearby car parks, and a taxi rank outside the building.

The therapy room is accessed by stairs.

Nearby Car Parks:  Midway, Ryecroft, Merrial Street, Cherry Orchard.
From Bus Station:  Exit from Newcastle Bus Station into Hassell Street, and then continue along Castle Walk.  At the end, turn right into Ironmarket, and I am in the next building past the former library building.

APPOINTMENTS are normally made for the same day and time, on a weekly basis.  It depends on the individual needs of each client as to how many sessions may be helpful.  This would be discussed at the initial consultation.

I am competitively priced and can usually offer an initial consultation within a week.

Initial Consultation
The first half hour of the initial consultation is FREE and WITHOUT OBLIGATION, enabling us to find out more about one another. If we then decide to work together a fee of £20 will be charged for the remainder of the session.

Counselling Sessions from £35
Some concessions

It depends on the individual needs of each client as to how many further appointments may be helpful.  Some single issues, may be helped by short-term therapy of between 6 to 12 sessions, whilst more complex issues may require longer.  This can be discussed at our first meeting.
